Darla Jade is an up and coming electro-pop artist and ‘is certainly one to keep your eye on!’ – About The Noise. This new artist had a very successful 2019, where she released her debut single ‘This Time’, wrote an albums worth of material in Thailand, secured shows all over the UK including performances at Ronnie Scott’s and The Bedford Lounge, and also toured Germany with The Dark Tenor.

In 2020 Darla has upped the pace drastically! She kicked the year off with a very honest song. The singer-songwriter is one to talk about personal situations in her well crafted lyrics and Overcrowded is no exception! It was said that the song felt like ‘a private diary entry’ – (Slapmag Magazine). Darla Jade is no stranger to talking about important topics, as although she currently has a handful of tracks to listen to, she has already spoken about OCD (Overcrowded) and Dementia (Forget You Not) within her music and on social media!

This talented artist almost has a two-sided feel to her project, as she writes emotional darker ballads but then switches into a lighter electro-pop sound with tracks such as ‘Two Of You’ and ‘Frenemy’. Although this captivating artist has a scandipop feel to her songs with ethereal sounding vocals, catchy melodies and an underlying electronic 80’s feel to her productions, the singer is in fact based in Stoke On Trent, UK. The young artist is definitely carving her own path and one to look out for!
