Jay Doce

Biography

Jay Doce is a 23 year old artist from Hayward, California. He fell in love with music at a young age, always writing songs in his head. Jay’s biggest influences in his music come from the East Bay Area, where he fell in love with the local music scene. Another passion outside of music is fashion, when Jay launched his brand Jaxsoul in August of 2020.

Jay’s first song “Number Nine” was released February 14, 2021, and featured his close friend and collaborator Vanni. Since then, he’s focused on building his sound and working on an EP based on his own influences in the bay.

Jay’s music consists of a lot of wordplay rooted in real life experiences. From a young age, he always had a passion for writing and soon shifted to using that in writing songs. He just released “Seeing Double”, which is the lead single to his EP titled “51HOME”, set to come out summer 2022. 51HOME will consist of a west coast sound which draws heavy from his own experiences living in the Bay Area while bringing a modernized twist on the sound. Jay hopes to both introduce people to his music as well as showcase the Bay Area and have people from all over the world have a good time no matter where they area. Jay has since moved to San Francisco, where he’s ready to light the scene up give the bay another burst of hype.
