He has a good reputation among his listeners & the industry and is bound to make it in the rap scene sooner or later! We are happy to present you the talented musician- “IONTEZ

[Blaster] Thank you for your time! What music did you grow up listening to?

IONTEZ: Growing up I listened to a lot of Lil Uzi Vert and by far one of my favorites from Uzi is “Scott & Ramona” I still listen to that track till this day. I also listened to a lot of Famous Dex his songs “Kanye”, “Lemonade” & “New Wave” featuring Rich The Kid are some of my favorite songs by him.

[Blaster] How did you become involved in music production?

IONTEZ: It started when I was about 10, I would make songs on Audacity with my friends & upload them to SoundCloud for fun. At the time I was recording with a broken gaming headset that I used duct tape to fix it. Around when I was 12 I started taking my music hobby more seriously I bought equipment to make a bedroom studio like a Blue Yeti Mic, Studio Monitors, & Recording Headphones. I started releasing my songs on all platforms & slowly I became the person who I am today.

[Blaster] How would you describe your musical style?

IONTEZ: I would describe my style as very experimental because I am really versatile and I like to try out different genres. I’ve recorded Drill, R&B, Pluggnb, Pop, EDM, Techno, Melodic, & Rock songs, I enjoy experimenting with different genres you just have to forget about what people say & do what you want to do.

[Blaster] Who writes your songs?

IONTEZ: I write all my music. I freestyle all my lyrics and write them down after hand.

[Blaster] Is there a hidden meaning in your music?

IONTEZ: A lot of my music is about experiences I went through and things I admire such as my past/current drug use & some of my favorite clothing Brands. I basically rap about what comes to mind but I’d like to keep a song on one topic.

[Blaster] Do you collaborate with other musicians? What is that process?

IONTEZ: I usually hit up an artist & send them a open verse for them to hop on. Once they are done recording they send it back and I add finishing touches then set a release date.

[Blaster] Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organization?

IONTEZ: I’m independent but I am in MPR Empire and help manage MPR every once in a while, shoutout to Juggmane he my mentor & created MPR. I currently also working on a music community & management page called Diversify Music. I can’t give out too much details about Diversify but it will include all styles of music to show how diverse this industry can be & there is so much different sounds you never heard before.

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

IONTEZ: Music artists that experiment with new sounds & samples inspire me to create different music. It reminds me to have fun recording my music.

[Blaster] What skills have you learned that will help you in your music career?

IONTEZ: I learned being different shouldn’t be feared it really let’s you be you. I don’t need to act a certain way for people to like me more or for people not to hate on me.

[Blaster] What are you working on right now? Did you release something in the past?

IONTEZ: I’m currently working on a EP that should release between December & February. I recently released a single called “See Ya Later” featuring LuhGudda it is out on all platforms.

[Blaster] What are the main topics for most of your songs? Do you think topics will change overtime?

IONTEZ: My main topics are usually drugs, clothing brands & money. I don’t think my topics will change over time besides drug use because hopefully I can get the help I need but I will forever love clothes & money.

[Blaster] What do you feel is the best song you ever released and why?

IONTEZ: I think “Blast” is my best song I released because it really showed me I could do much more than I thought I could. It also had the most positive feedback which I appreciate.

[Blaster] Who are you inspired by?

IONTEZ: I’m inspired by my circle. Each one of my brothers inspire me & motivate me to keep working on whatever I’m working on. It helps me to not procrastinate and keep my mind straight.

[Blaster] What would be your dream collaboration with any musician or producer?

IONTEZ: My dream collaboration would be with Pierre Bourne his beats are a vibe & I could definitely kill one of his beats.

[Blaster] How do you balance your music with other obligations – school, hobby, job?

IONTEZ: I do important things first such as school work & working then when I am finished I work on music & social media.

[Blaster] At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?

IONTEZ: I hope people just enjoy each of my tracks & just vibe to it.

[Blaster] Would you like to give any message to your fans?

IONTEZ: I don’t have fans but I got many supporters and just be different you don’t have to be a follower or leader as long as you are yourself then you are good.
