The band has a modern rock focus and an unquenched thirst for communication that demands attention with Jordan White’s lead vocals that cut like a knife with a take no prisoners attitude influenced by a combination of alternative rock, metal and a touch of Punk..  We are happy to introduce you to – JANE N’ THE JUNGLE !

[Blaster] Thank you for your time guys! How did the band come together?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Brian and I started a garage rock band in 2013 that later formed into Jane N’ The Jungle.

[Blaster] Describe the band or the band’s music in one sentence?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Emotional.

[Blaster] As a band, is there one person who is the leader (so to speak) or do you work and write together tossing ideas around? How do you stay focused as a band and to avoid common band disagreements in all facets, including writing, recording and making the decisions?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: The band is like family. Communication, patience and respect are big keys to helping maintain a good relationship. Having the focus be on the music and creating the best art we can also helps drives our common goal.

[Blaster] Do you collectively have a favorite album?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: There’s not one that comes to mind…

[Blaster] Is there an hidden meaning in your music?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: I think the song meanings are usually easy to figure out. I don’t purposely try to trick listeners with over complicated subject matters.

[Blaster] For upcoming bands, can you tell us what the secret is of keeping a band together for so long?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Hmmm I wish I knew the secret to this one….

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: It’s different every time, I pull inspiration from where ever I can.

[Blaster] Any plans on new music? When can we expect a new album or EP?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Yes! We are stoked to release a new single soon and should be dropping an EP this year!

[Blaster] Where can people see you perform next? Do you have a 2023 tour scheduled yet?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: We will be playing next in Phoenix on March 10th at Crescent Ballroom with Escape the Fate and will be adding more tour dates soon!

[Blaster] Tell us about your latest song. Was it specifically inspired by anything or anyone? Where was it recorded??

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: “Raw as a Jewel” was our latest single we released in November recored at Pearl Sound Studios with Chuck Alkazian. It’s about being raw, open and honest with your feelings and desires.

[Blaster] What is one musical goal that you have had for this year?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: To put out more music!

[Blaster] Can you recall the moment when you thought you could be in this group?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: LOL! I don’t think there ever was a moment, it just happened. There were many turns along the way and it wasn’t easy. The name was given to us after some people said I reminded them of Jane in the Jungle character from Tarzan. They said I was quiet and shy but then fierce and loud on stage and it always surprised everyone.

[Blaster] Do you all hang out socially apart from the music?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: I think it’s extremely important to hangout socially outside of the band. You have to be like family. The moment the communication is off and you stop treating each other like family is when things fall apart.

[Blaster] Where do you think you are all happiest- in the studio recording new music, on stage performing or elsewhere?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: I love being in the studio, it’s the place I feel most secure.

[Blaster] Are there any funny stories that happened to you while traveling together, that you want to share with our readers?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Sometimes really hard things happen that after awhile feel funny. I’m still waiting for that…

[Blaster] What do you hope is the message of your music?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: I hope I can inspire people with our music.

[Blaster] Would you like to give any message to your fans?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Thank you for all your love and support for our music, it truly means the world to us! We look forward to releasing new music and hope to see you guys on the road soon!

[Blaster] Tell us where fans can follow your work and access your music?

JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music, Instagram, Facebook, we are on all streaming platforms!
