We are happy to introduce you to the talented music artist from USA – LOF Jae !

[Blaster] Thank you for your time! What music did you grow up listening to?

LOF Jae: I grew up listening to all types of music but, R&B & Soul , Hip-Hop, Emo Rap were definitely my strongest influences.

[Blaster] How did you become involved in music production?

LOF Jae: I was always into music since a youngin, I used to love doing covers of Bruno Mars when I was younger. I’d sit in the living room screaming off the top of my lungs. I dropped my first song on soundcloud. It was recorded over a phone while I played a beat on my laptop. It was trash but I’ve came a long way. Ever since then I’ve been telling everyone I’m going to make it. I met my group LOF aka Lake Of Fire around the age of 13, it was a small group. I actually got in because I grew up with 2 of the dudes in there. We lost touch for a while but re connected through instagram. I went to my first studio with them at the age of 14. Eventually we split and now only 2 of us still make music, but I still got love for the guys.

[Blaster] How would you describe your musical style?

LOF Jae: I’m very versatile, my new EP can stamp that. I think of myself as an artist. You can’t put a label on my musical style.

[Blaster] Who writes your songs?

LOF Jae: I write all my songs from beginning to end. I’ll give my mom some credit. She’s always there helping me when I’m having trouble making words fit together.

[Blaster] Is there a hidden meaning in your music?

LOF Jae: Yes, I’d like for everyone to know that they’re not alone.

[Blaster] Do you collaborate with other musicians? What is that process?

LOF Jae: I love collaborating with others, especially when I can tell it’s going to be a good song.

[Blaster] What skills have you learned that will help you in your music career?

LOF Jae: Throughout my music career i’ve learned that patience is the key to amazing work. I’ve gained people skills marketing myself.

[Blaster] Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organization?

LOF Jae: I’m not a part of any label. I do want to eventually start my own music team again though. It sucks doing everything by yourself. Having a music team is very important especially for upcoming artists/producers.

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

LOF Jae: Most of my inspiration comes from past experiences and feeling the beat.

[Blaster] What are the main topics for most of your songs? Do you think topics will change overtime?

LOF Jae: The main topics for most of my songs is love and life experiences.

[Blaster] What are you working on right now? Did you release something in the past?

LOF Jae: Right now I’m working on getting out of writers block. I got a few artists hitting my phone to work. We gon get shit shakin soon. I just released an EP called VERSATILITY. Go stream that!

[Blaster] What do you feel is the best song you ever released and why?

LOF Jae: I personally can’t pick, all my songs are banger after banger. If I had to choose though I’d say Into You really started it all for me.

[Blaster] Who are you inspired by?

LOF Jae: I’m heavily inspired by Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Juice Wrld, X, Burna Boy, and HoodCelebrityy.

[Blaster] What would be your dream collaboration, with any musician or producer?

LOF Jae: I would’ve loved to work with XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD. RiP to two legends. I’d for sure love to work with Burna Boy though.

[Blaster] How do you balance your music with other obligations – school, hobby, job?

LOF Jae: I full time do music. I just turned 18, I had a few jobs but I didn’t like any of them.

[Blaster] At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?
LOF Jae: I hope people get the message that they’re never alone. I like to show people that others go through the same things & that there’s always an alternative rather than hurting themselves. Music isn’t just music to me, it’s my emotions being spilled. It’s my therapy.

[Blaster] Would you like to give any message to your fans?

LOF Jae: Surround yourself with positive energy and stay out the way. Be yourself, even if others don’t accept you. Fuck who can’t accept you, and fuck anyone who tries to make you change yourself. My DMS are always open if anyone would like to talk. I’m always here, be safe. I’m droppin BANGERS AFTER BANGERS. Make sure you TAP IN!
