[Blaster] Thank you for your time Sam! What music did you grow up listening to?

SAM PAIGE: I grew up listening to Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson and Brittney Spears, as well as Broadway music tunes.

 

[Blaster] How did you become involved in music production?

SAM PAIGE: I am involved in the songwriting and recording side of the music production. All the rest is done by my music and manager.

 

[Blaster] How would you describe your musical style?

SAM PAIGE: I would describe my musical style as pop with a flare of country.

[Blaster] Is there an hidden meaning in any of your music?

SAM PAIGE: My songs are very vulnerable and insight into my private life. I write about subjects that are meaningful to me, and that connect with my fans.

 

[Blaster] Who writes your songs?

SAM PAIGE: Sometimes I write my own songs, but I had J4 pitch me my last 2 singles.

 

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

SAM PAIGE: I find my artistic inspiration from within. I also listen to artists who empower other women, and that helps me find my own voice to write about my past experiences.

[Blaster] Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organization?

SAM PAIGE: I am signed under Jill Pavel’s record label Heart Songs Music Group. Yes, I am a member. of ASCAP.

 

[Blaster] Who are you inspired by?

SAM PAIGE: I am inspired by my parents, my boyfriend and Lin-Manuel Miranda. He is a music prodigy, and an inspiration due to his work ethic, musical talent, and humanity.

 

[Blaster] Do you collaborate with others? What is that process?

SAM PAIGE: Yes, I collaborated on my previous single with Cory Singer. It is an upbeat pop song called “I’ll be love.” We both bounce ideas off of one another, and see what clicks. For “On Me” I had Gabby Vaughn sing background vocals.

 

[Blaster] What skills have you learned that will help you in your music career?

SAM PAIGE: I learned to be patient, work hard, and write with passion and authenticity. Your hard work and dedication will pay off eventually.

 

[Blaster] What are the main topics for most of your songs? Do you think topics will change overtime?

SAM PAIGE: I usually write about relationship issues, mental health issues and being a better version of yourself. Yes, the topics will evolve over time as I do.

 

[Blaster] What are you working right now? Did you release something in the past?

SAM PAIGE: I am working on a new original song with Jerry Ramos in the studio. Yes, on December 9th 2022, my new single “On Me” was released on all music platforms.

 

[Blaster] What do you feel is the best song you ever released and why?

SAM PAIGE: “On Me” is my favorite song to date, because I tailored it to my own life experiences, so I could relate to the lyrics, and so could my fan base.

 

[Blaster] What would be your dream collaboration, with any musician or producer?

SAM PAIGE: I would LOVE to collaborate with Taylor Swift. That would be a dream come true!!

 

[Blaster] How do you balance your music with other obligations – school, hobby, job?

SAM PAIGE: I usually dedicate a few hours a day to my songwriting, and I balance it with my normal office job.

 

[Blaster] At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?

SAM PAIGE: I want people to love themselves, feel empowered, and never allow anyone to make them feel less than. They should always know their worth.
