His musical journey has been a roller coaster ride but also full of self-exploration and excitement. He likes to call his music style an alternative-styled hip-hop very backpack influenced more indie/pop mood music.  We are happy to present you the talented musician- “XANDER WAYNE

[Blaster] Thank you for your time Xander! What music did you grow up listening to?

XANDER WAYNE: All kinds of music having a young mother it started with old school 90’s r&b you know the classics like Keith Sweat, tlc etc. later On I grew an attachment to the old school anything that was pop or mainstream 70, 80’s 90’s. From their i slowly developed while learning to play the guitar finally finding my way to hip hop. Being introduced to wu-tang, migrating from the sounds to the dirty south crunk movement, lil John, David banner etc. and from their I found lil Wayne and that’s when my love for rap really sunk in.

[Blaster] How did you become involved in music production?

XANDER WAYNE: It started small I played guitar in a couple bands traveling around and performing in my city. From their i really started researching what some people call “universal magic” it was then I knew I had a gift and I had to learn how to harness it. I had some friends who were local rappers who brought me to their studio. I went and was amazed I had always been performing but I never had felt such hand on control. And as they say the rest is history. Traveled around working at different studios collabing with people, sleeping on floors and working My hands to the bone until I had enough to get my own equipment and record my own music. And from there it was my soul mission to develope my sound and figure out who I was musically

[Blaster] How would you describe your musical style?

XANDER WAYNE: My musical style is an alternative very distinct sub genre of hip hop, a very diverse style that can slip in and out of any sub genre, from edm/ to country/ pop/ hyper trap/ trap/ hip hop and soul. I’ve been told that when I rap rap I give off Mac Miller and belly type vibes but when I sing I get some Darius Rucker/ future type vibes safe to say I’m one of a kind that can be contained within the spectrum

[Blaster] Who writes your songs?

XANDER WAYNE: I do of course sometimes I get help from my pittbull Lola she’s always at every studio session

[Blaster] Is there a hidden meaning in your music?

XANDER WAYNE: I don’t hide meanings in my songs , in my music I convey the pain of the real situations I have went through so not only are you listening to a song but you can stare into my soul and see the pain and emotions I had went through so that you can relate. And the magic of the frequencies of the music and words put together can help heal you and activate you in a magical ways.

[Blaster] Do you collaborate with other musicians? What is that process?

XANDER WAYNE: I collaborate with many people. The process is quite simple i stumble upon people always put an ear to their music and instantly wanna work with them so I reach out to see what we can make happen. In a physical setting I share what I’m working on with whoever’s around me or whoever I would feel would be a perfect compliment to the sound I’m trying to create. I share and we vibe until magic happens.

[Blaster] Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organization?

XANDER WAYNE: Yes RX MUSIC. We are an independent and grass roots based organization headed by myself. We use our gift and expertise to execute our motto “RX MUSIC HEALING THE WORLD WITH SOUND”.

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

XANDER WAYNE: I find inspiration in the beauties of life and the chaos and pain it can bring to one’s emotional state.

[Blaster] What skills have you learned that will help you in your music career?

XANDER WAYNE: Obviously producing and engineering, mastering is a complete skill on my own which I take a lot of pride in. Beyond that definitely media creation, marketing and analytic tactics to gain exposure. And of course being able to sing write to any genre.

[Blaster] What are you working on right now? Did you release something in the past?

XANDER WAYNE: CURRENTLY I’m working on my next album and dropping singles along the way. BUT I AM RELEASING A HUGE NFT musical PROJECT, this project will be available on rarible.com and opensea.io. [Blaster] What are the main topics for most of your songs? Do you think topics will change overtime?

XANDER WAYNE: A lot of my topics are about emotional states and grievances I have gone through, trials and testaments, love and heart break, The use of drugs is apperesnt because at the low points in my life I was a user and abuser and took music to save me and turn my life around.

[Blaster] What do you feel is the best song you ever released and why?

XANDER WAYNE: The best song I’ve ever released and this is my personal opinion would be “BREAK MY MOLD” off of my project 3 which will also be available on “3” the infinity edition nft.

[Blaster] Who are you inspired by?

XANDER WAYNE: I am inspired by the trials I went through and the people who have the same goal as I do. I am inspired by those who are able to walk into a session and just vibe to whatever’s on. Tho those who don’t quit like I do and repeatedly push regardless of the negative feed back and nay sayers.

[Blaster] What would be your dream collaboration with any musician or producer?

XANDER WAYNE: My dream collaboration would be an album produced by myself and Kanye with features from Darius Rucker, Dominic fike, lil Wayne, Elton John, Stevie knicks, Brent Fayiaz, kid cudi, and Miguel.

[Blaster] How do you balance your music with other obligations – school, hobby, job?

XANDER WAYNE: From becoming a full time executive chef to full time musician I’ve found balance by just focusing on what makes me happy because I’m so secure in my talents that I know I’m going to be okay, that I can provide and pay the bils just do what makes you happy and everything will fall into place.

[Blaster] At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?

XANDER WAYNE: I hope people can cry, dance, love and vibe with me and ultimately heal and unlock their new own magical essence through me. I want to be their guide by offering them a journey through my soul.
