[Blaster] Thank you for your time! What music did you grow up listening to?

Kay Holla: Hip Hop.

 

[Blaster] How did you become involved in music production?

Kay Holla: Writing and rapping at age 9.

 

[Blaster] How would you describe your musical style?

Kay Holla: Club banger, High Energy.

 

[Blaster] Who writes your songs?

Kay Holla: I write my own lyrics.[Blaster] Is there a hidden meaning in your music?
Kay Holla: Life, Struggle, and Street.

 

[Blaster] Do you collaborate with other musicians? What is that process?

Kay Holla: I am in the early stages of my career. Listen to the artist flow and style. Write together. Studio production process.

 

[Blaster] What skills have you learned that will help you in your music career?

Kay Holla: Time Management, Creativity, Thinking out of box, Been consistency, Open minding.

 

[Blaster] Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organization?

Kay Holla: No.

 

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

Kay Holla: My daughter, the community in today’s society (Black Lives Matter), and history of first Black American President Barack Obama.[Blaster] What are the main topics for most of your songs? Do you think topics will change overtime?
Kay Holla: Life, Hustle, and Overcoming life issues.

 

[Blaster] What are you working on right now? Did you release something in the past?

Kay Holla: Released already “Incarcerated Scarfaces’ ‘ (Freestyle) of a classic of Raewkon. Official single released February 5, 2021.

 

[Blaster] What do you feel is the best song you ever released and why?

Kay Holla: Chain Glo.[Blaster] Who are you inspired by?
Kay Holla: Inspired by Raekwon, Cassidy, Ransom, Stack Bundles, Freck Billionaires, Styles P, Max B, Nate Dogg, Chinx Drugz, Don Q, and Cam’ron.

 

[Blaster] What would be your dream collaboration, with any musician or producer?

Kay Holla: Swiss Beats (Producer), Fabulous, Young Ma, Drake, Young Dolph, and Young Jezzy.

 

[Blaster] How do you balance your music with other obligations – school, hobby, job?

Kay Holla: Being a father to my daughter is my top priority. Music involves my daughter. TIme Management with life period.

 

[Blaster] At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?

Kay Holla: Overcoming life issues and moving forward with goals.
