Four friends started the band in May of 2020 and had two albums and twelve singles out till now.  Incredible dedication and work in such a short time! All singles charted in Poland, UK and the US on iTunes and indie charts, including number ones in the UK (indie radio chart) and in Poland (major FM radio chart and iTunes Rock Poland). We are happy to present you the rock band from Poland – “Snakedoctors

[Blaster] Thank you for your time! What music did you grow up listening to?

Snakedoctors: It’s four of us so looking for some common influences – mainly The Rolling Stones, the Beatles, AC/DC, Joy Division and later on grunge – Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots.

[Blaster] How did you become involved in music production?

Snakedoctors: Wojciech used to play in US grunge and rock band during his college years. Since we’ve known each other for so many years and came out with the idea to start the band last year we just got together, followed the experience he had and it all just clicked.

[Blaster] How would you describe your musical style?

Snakedoctors: It’s a blend of grunge, new wave and rock. We want to write and play songs that people could understend and identify with.

[Blaster] Who writes your songs?

Snakedoctors: Wojciech (guitar and vocals) writes music and most of lyrics. On each album there’s one or two songs with lyrics written by Jacek (those in Polish or Italian)

[Blaster] Is there a hidden meaning in your music?

Snakedoctors: Not really. Songs are mainly about simple, everyday things like love, relationships and usual things that may arrive in life.

[Blaster] Do you collaborate with other musicians? What is that process?

Snakedoctors: Yes, we do on our last album. We met very talented, young artist Catlea thru one of UK indie charts. Our songs charted in the same time. We got that idea for a song. And it clicked. Similar with the other guest we invited for our album – Jenny G – the fact of being overseas doesn’t make it difficult to do collaborations.

[Blaster] Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organization?

Snakedoctors: Yes, we are on Polish independent label Case Studio. Great place for bands like ours.

[Blaster] Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

Snakedoctors: We all love similar styles of music so musicwise it very simple. Lyricwise – everything that is going around in life gives so much inspiration that you could just write and write…

[Blaster] What skills have you learned that will help you in your music career?

Snakedoctors: Music experience from the past. Our jobs gave us focus on hard work, consistent approach and some managerial skills. Mainly hard work while still having fun.

[Blaster] What are you working on right now? Did you release something in the past?

Snakedoctors: In 1.5 years we released 3 albums and thirteen singles. The lates album “Mellow Joy” came out just now on 10/22. We already recorded songs for the 4th and 5th albums. Many of them went thru production already. We plan to have them out in 2022. In our vaults we also have a bunch of remixes of our songs for possible release some time in 2022 or 2023. We’re starting to record… next songs, too. We love music and have fun with it. So we are very productive:)

[Blaster] What are the main topics for most of your songs? Do you think topics will change overtime?

Snakedoctors: Just life and everything we see around – very often relationships, love, trust. Just those things than anyone could relate to.

[Blaster] What do you feel is the best song you ever released and why?

Snakedoctors: That would make a few… but if had to choose one it would be “A Song”, our first hit that landed no. 1 at couple of charts with good, simple melody and good and nice lyrics. It’s about a girl who wants to find love but is too busy with her work to find out that it’s been around all that time.

[Blaster] Who are you inspired by?

Snakedoctors: As mentioned already – Joy Division, Alice in chains, Stone Temple Pilots, the Rolling Stones but also Jr Kimbrough, Tyler Keith, Grey Daze and many more.

[Blaster] What would be your dream collaboration with any musician or producer?

Snakedoctors: Alice in chains, Tyler Keith and Keith Richards.

[Blaster] How do you balance your music with other obligations – school, hobby, job?

Snakedoctors: Practices, gigs and recording are the best parts of it all. So, no need for any special motivation. As long as music won’t pay all bills – we will sure keep our jobs till then.

[Blaster] At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?

Snakedoctors: Fun and good time. And it’s all. Mainly fun.

[Blaster] Would you like to give any message to your fans?

Snakedoctors: Y’all listen to music you like. Support your local artists and if you feel like doing it – start you a band. It’s fun:)
